The Joerns Dolphin Air Mattress – Fluid Immersion System (FIS) is a mattress that was originally developed to transport dolphins for the US Navy SEAL training programs. dolphins, the Joerns Dolphin mattress aka “The Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation (FIS) System” is an advanced therapy system designed to provide state-of-the-art pressure redistribution by simulating the effects of a body immersed in a fluid medium.

This fluid immersion mattress system is ideal for treatment and prevention of bed sores,
pressure wound and wound care therapy. We are able to sell this mattress for a regular
hospital bed and also specifically for a Hill Rom P3200 Versacare bed (V matt mattress)
and also a specifically designed air mattress pad for wheelchairs. We also sell a Stryker Secure 3 and Hill Rom CareAssist Bed.

with a bed frame. Joerns makes a special “V Matt” mattress system which is specially
made for a Hill Rom P3200 Versacare bed and also the regular Dolphin FIS Mattress System for regular flat bottom bed frames.
